We created Topplers as a nonprofit dedicated to impacting the world in a positive way by setting big things in motion with charitable programs that inspire, educate and motivate people. Topplers is giving people the opportunity to create, influence and participate in significant change. Our member-based Community is free to join. We enable anyone to participate in or start a movement, even while balancing a day job, a family, personal time and more. Topplers makes it easy for strangers to connect with others, giving ideas the momentum needed to grow and thrive. When Community members Take Action on a Branch, share Impact Stories, invite others to join, or make a donation, they increase the impact our community makes.
History
Our founder Herb Morreale began the Domino Award program at his alma mater University of Colorado Boulder in 2002 as a way to give back to the school. Based on Domino Theory, the idea that one small action can set in motion a chain of events, the Domino Award showed students that their future work could have a positive and lasting impact on the world. Looking to apply Domino Theory to more ideas, Topplers was formed as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 2008.
Topplers has grown from a handful of volunteers, taking small and meaningful actions to help someone’s BIG Idea come to life, to a thriving Community of Topplers with BIG ideas to help make a difference on the causes that are important to them, supporting each other and collectively making these ideas become a reality.
When each of us in the Topplers Community takes an action, contributing our time and energy where help is needed, we all bring about change faster. And our individual actions add up to make a bigger impact.

As a 501(c)3, it is through the generosity of our Community members and sponsors that Topplers is able to support our Community platform and grow the number of Branches we can support for our Community to Take Action on.

Helping Your BIG Idea Become a Reality
Great ideas or social movements often start with an inspired act by one person. But all too often, great ideas are never acted on and go nowhere. Topplers Branches come from the BIG idea of people just like you. Submit your BIG idea to Topplers and it could become our next featured Branch for our Community members to Take Action on and make an impact.
To have your idea considered as a new Topplers Branch, please complete all the questions in the Suggest A Branch form. Provide specific, actionable items that our community members can take to help your BIG idea become a reality. After you submit your idea, our Topplers Board will review your idea. And if selected for a new featured Branch, we’ll contact you and make you the Branch Builder!
